MS Dhoni (capt &wk), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Rohit Sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Praveen Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha, Zaheer Khan (subject to fitness).

We can see the team selection. It's a pretty balanced team against the Oz. It's the best available resources at present available in India.

it could be bit better, if India could have given chance to Ravindra Jadeja & Pathan Jr (i.e, Irfan pathan). Ravindra Jadeja is a capable batsman as well a very handy left arm spinner. He deserves one look @test level. @Oz, place like Adelede & Sydney. Where pitch assists spinners, Indian could play Jadeja as a specialist allrounder instead of Kohli (@present, he looks to be the supreme contender @no.6). India could be in a better position to play with 3 pacers & 1 spinner as ashwin then followed by jadeja & sehwag.

But when it did nt happen. Its fine, No issue with this. India should look to give chances to their benches at practice matches.

Players like aaron & yadav need confidence, They are  much capable palyers at international level. As a pacer, they need patience to take wikets on Indian conditions, then only they will get chance to pick for International tour.

Ajinkya Rahane, a good chance to explore experience, & should wait for his chance. Once he'll get it. he should not waste it!

The wicket Keeping selection is too good. Saha must get chances caz he deserves it. he did excellent at Various levels & in critical situations for the respective teams he played. Thumbs up for selection.

Rest of the team selection is good... n best part, Indians are flying much earlier then schedule.
