The large number of chicken and kabab centers in Bangalore is proof enough to say that Bangaloreans are chicken lovers. Chicken is usually eaten for lunch, dinner and day snack, but we definitely know of a large number of people who can eat it for breakfast and midnight snack.

While chicken can be made into biryani, kabab, tandoor, sheek and what not, every Kabab center or restaurant has its own signature dish that it is famous for.

GoBangalore decided to sniff around and find out who makes the best of each item. We start the series with whole grilled chicken (Well, coz its one of our favourites too :P )

So here is a list of top five restaurants that make the best grilled chicken in town.

1. Siddique kabab center:

66/5, St Johns Church Road, Opposite Coles Park, St. Johns Church Road, Bangalore.

The ambience may not be all that pleasing but their grilled chicken is definitely the best.

2. Empire Restaurant

1st A Cross Rd, Koramangala Industrial Layout, Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka.

This is our personal favourite :) while there are a lot of branches of Empire in Bangalore; we found that the Koramangala grilled chicken tasted the best. (P.S. Take a look at the picture above)

3. Imperial Restaurant:

94 & 95, Residency Road , Bangalore- 560025

For the first timer, the taste may seem similar to the Empire grilled chicken, but if you are a pro, you can tell them apart.

4. Kabab Magic:

31, R V Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560004

Yummy grilled chicken plus once you have ordered you can watch the guy cut your chicken with a pair of scissors.

5.  Al Bek Kabab Corner:

# 48/7, ist main, nagappa block, mnk road, srirampuram, bangalore-21

This may come as a surprise, but yes its true. A less known place, servers one of the best grill chickens and gives you good value for money if you are not very particular about the ambiance.

So what are you waiting for, head to the nearest center and dig into some blissful grilled chicken.
