THE HORTICULTURE DEPARTMENT in Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike is formed to construct, develop, upgrade and maintenance

of public parks. The objectives of the department is to develop and maintain all the parks in good, clean and green condition and to provide all the benefits to the every citizen of the city such as from child to old age people, to develop more open spaces into gardens, mini forests, boulevard walking area etc.

THE HORTICULTURE DEPARTMENT provides services to the public like construction of Boulevard walking tracks/pathways, providing children play equipments to the children play area and development of play areas, planting of trees, development of land scaping area and maintenance of parks in clean, good, healthy and green condition throughout the year.
