The Auto404 portal provides a centralized, transparent system to log and track complaints on traffic violations in Bangalore, against all types of motor vehicles and is easily accessible to citizens and government officials. It’s easy and hassle free system integrates with existing governmental systems to make sure that your voice counts!

What's more, Auto404.org has been approved by the Commissioner's office and will eventually be integrated with existing government systems. Auto404 already has more than 600 registered users and over a 100 complaints have been reported since it's official launch on 14th October.

Stop running from pillar to post to make your traffic complaints heard and log on to www.auto404.org and register a complaint. The idea is to link the complaint system to the ‘grievance’ option of the transport department website (rto.kar.nic.in), so that complaints can be taken up by the specific Road Transport Office (RTO).

Auto404 has a back-end process which collects verified complaints and prioritizes them based on the seriousness of the offence. The system has two users — the complainant and the administrator. Each RTO is an administrator and will have access to complaints coming under its jurisdiction, while a ‘super admin’ will have access to all complaints. They can log in, take print-outs of complaints, act on them and then upload the details of action taken. Along with being able to track the status of a complaint, the user is also intimated by email/sms about the action taken.

How to register? 

1. Go to www.auto404.org and click on the ‘Join Us’ option.

2. Create a login, you will receive an email and sms for verification purposes.

3. Once the verification process is done, you can login and register your complaint.

You could alternatively send an sms complaint — “auto404 (space) vehicle number (space) complaint text” (within 120 characters) to 5607008. You will be kept updated about your complaint.
