Aero India, supposedly Asia's number one Air show held once every two years at the Yelahanka Air Force station in Bangalore kicked off on the 9th of February 2011. Organised by the Ministry of Defense, Mr. M. K. Anthony, the Defense Minister flagged its start.

While the show exhibited some defense objectives, for a citizen it was true pleasure to watch their pilots maneuver their planes to perfection. A team of four Redbull aircrafts entertained the audience with their complex maneuvering. The stars of the show- The Suryakiran team impressed the audience with their mid air dare devil stunts. They flew nine aircrafts, formed different formations painting the sky with the Indian tri color. It was a proud moment for every Indian who stood there with nothing but respect for the pilots.

So head to the yelahanka Air Force Station and get a taste of what life is for an Indian Air Force Pilot. The Aero Show 2011 is on till the 13th of February 2011 and is open for the general public. Tickets are available at the venue and there are two shows a day.
