The Annual cake festival is here again, a Blue Hill group presentation. It is the 36th cake show in Bangalore and this time the Show stopper cake model is the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel of Mumbai. The sugar replica did look stunning and the strategically placed lighting only added to the beauty of the cake. 

Some of the other sugar creations on display are the grandfather clock, the eight tier wedding cake, a treasure box, humpty dumpty, the bunny house, the house boat and the Santa Villa with a human Santa inside. Santa’s cream and sugar garden is definitely something to watch out for. While each of the cakes is a visual delight and they are exquisitely hand crafted. 

The show is on till the 28th of this month on St Joseph Indian school grounds on Vittal Mallya road, and is combined with a lifestyle shopping festival. Furniture, clothes, home appliances, accessories and food are the major highlights of the shopping event.

Every year the cake show sees thousands of visitors, and this year is no different. Infact, it is more special with the Taj Hotel replica, its almost gives the impression of a Fight against terrorism. So head to the sugar jungle and extend your support.
